Morning prayer

She wakes up a little after dawn.

The sun is already up above the horizon and the bed covers are rayed with sun. Her senses still dimmed, she turns on her side, to inhale the fresh scent of wild flowers that comes through the open window.

It all feels so quiet.

Finally, she decides to get out of the bed, sliding into some clothes, nothing fancy, a simple shirt and a pair of brown trousers. As she passes by the little bed, she looks down at the girl who sleeps peacefully and tugs the blanket around her.

Mornings are cool up there, in Emberglade.

She stops in front of the mirror, to arrange her ruffled silken blue hair. Frowning upon her own reflected image, she remembers she had dreamed of something, yet images in her mind are blurred, beyond recognition.

Just a dream...

With a sigh, she opens the door and looks upon the mountain and the green forests that lay across the valley in front of her. It is all so beautiful, so pure and untouched that she stops nearly breathless in the doorstep. Then shaking away the shade the dream she cannot remember had thrown upon her delicate features, she starts to pray.

O Light, who divide the day from the night and turn the shadow of death into the morning: Drive far from us all wrong desires, incline our hearts to keep your law, and guide our feet into the way of peace.
I humbly pray you so to guide and govern me by that in all the cares and occupations of my life I may not forget you , but may remember that I am ever walking in your sight.

Laandra lifts her gaze, only to see the tall stature of the Draenei priest approaching on the little path that leads to Stilpine Hold, and she smiles, confidently. This are her husband, her child and her home...blessed they all be by the Light.

2 things : first - the prayers are for real, just adapted them a little to serve the purpose

second - i know it's really confusing, but don't jump to conclusions, not yet, you'll see, just have a little patience....
